UK Law Citation Support

UK Law Citation offers free UK case lookup on the website and a Google Docs add-on during open beta. For support, email support@uklegalcite.co.uk.

Using the website

Start with case lookup for a known or partly remembered UK case. If the authority is not a case, or no match appears, use the custom citation tools. A no-result search does not prove that a case is unreported or does not exist.

Installing the add-on

1. Install UK Law Citation from Google Workspace Marketplace.
2. Approve the requested permissions.
3. Open or refresh a Google Doc.
4. Select Extensions → UK Law Citation → Open UK Law Citation.

If your university or employer blocks installation, ask the Google Workspace administrator whether Marketplace add-ons are permitted for your account.

Reporting a problem or giving feedback

Please include:

• the search query you typed;
• the citation you expected;
• the citation that appeared, if any;
• whether insertion worked in Google Docs;
• any visible error message.

Do not send confidential document text when reporting an issue.

Earlier billing questions

If you previously started a subscription before open beta, email support with the Google account email associated with it. Do not send payment-card details.
